Dear Father God, we desire as a church to take hold of the vision You have for us and pray that You would lead and guide us to take a collective step of faith in the direction that You would have us go.
Help us we pray, to grasp the church vision that You have for us, and may we be sensitive to Your leading and guidance. Prevent us from seeking to implement our own inferior ideas, or substitute our own manmade notions for Your plans and purposes.
Draw us closer to each other and to You, as we seek Your face together in prayer. May we be strengthened in the inner man, united together in the unity of the faith and prompted to carry out Your plans and purposes to Your greater glory.
We pray that the church vision that emerges in our hearts, will have been prompted by the Holy Spirit, for the edification of the saints and to Your praise and glory. This we ask in Jesus’ name
Heavenly Father, give us wisdom we pray to know what You would have us do and discernment to know what is the desire of Your heart for our lives, so that we may align our thoughts to Your thoughts and our will to Your perfect will and purpose.
Keep us we pray from following after our own, natural human wisdom or being influenced by the ways of the world but rather may we learn to base our decisions on Your will and Your purpose and be ready to follow Your guidance and direction.
Grant us a clearer vision we pray and lead us along the right path we ask, in Jesus name,
Heavenly Father, I feel that my life is needing Your direction more and more. I need a divine ‘vision’ of You, a godly understanding of You and a deeper relationship with You. Lord, I want to know You more and love You better.
At times I feel that my Christian life has just been scratching the surface of Who You are and I long to be like Job, who said, “I have heard about You with my ears, but now I see You with my eyes.” He saw You with his spiritual eyes of understanding, and Lord, I desire to have that intimate vision of You too, although I shrink back from having to go through the difficulties and trials that Job had to experience.
Give me that inner vision of Yourself I pray. Your character, Your Person, Your love, and draw me ever closer to Yourself, so that I too may say, “my ears have heard all about You but now I have a vision of Who You truly are.” This I ask in Jesus’ name,
